What are MP3 files?
MP3 (or more exactly MPEG 1 Layer 3) is a way to compress audio files.
Sounds can be made smaller approximately by the factor 12.
You can fit 12 audio cds on one cd-rom. You can also offer songs in cd quality
on the Internet (Beware of the Copyright).
